Only in its second summer, Catherine was new to gardening but keen to utilise her uneven and unused lawn space.

With kids and an active husband with lots of hobbies (and toys!) Catherine needed help to juggle all the families needs into this small and challenging space at the front of their house.

The Gift-The-Garden team have been working with Catherine and together, they have transformed the previously useless space into a productive garden featuring recycled materials, vegetables, food for wildlife and a deck for enjoying a sundowner whilst admiring the stunning views. There is even room for husband’s toys.

The garden focuses on food for the family and tisane production for teas.  Catherine loves to encourage foraging and grazing at all ages with experimental and opportunistic elements in florals, a black garden, butterflies and the easily accessible vegetable garden.
